40 Year Itch : Funky Burbles

Herbie Hancock : Hang Up Your Hang Ups

Forget Head Hunters, Herbie Hancock's 1975 album Man-Child is the funkiest of his career. Lead off track "Hang Up Your Hang Ups" would even get some play at the discos. Critics complained Hancock was playing his way out of favor with jazz fans but that's a story he shared with many of his contemporaries including Eddie Harris, Roy Ayers and the artist currently on the top of the Jazz charts, Grover Washington Jr.

Cool video by a guy who goes by the handle Conqa who uses clips from various TV shows and movies from the 1970's.
